Police have registered a case against 10 to 12 people for allegedly assaulting the Comedian Pranit more in the Maharashtra district after being upset by his jokes addressed to actor Veer Pahariya, an official said.
Pahariya, the grandson of former state prime minister, Sushilkumar Shinde, starred in the recently released action drama “Sky Force”.
After Mr. More here on Sunday, 10 to 12 people, who were upset due to their jokes addressed to Pahariya, assaulted the comedian, according to a police complaint filed in this regard.
A more statement has been submitted to his social media account about the alleged assault on him.
“… they attacked him brutally, hitting him and kicking him repeatedly, leaving him injured,” said the statement on his Instagram account.
After the post, the Suapur Police summoned Mr. More to register his statement, but did not appear, an official said Wednesday (February 5, 2025).
Subsequently, the Police recorded a case on the complaint of the owner of a restaurant where Mr. More had acted.
